March 13, 2020: COVID-19 Updates

March 13th, 2020
Dear Families,

Northwest Pediatrics is committed to maintaining a safe environment for patients, families, and staff. We are closely monitoring the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic and have made plans to continue serving your healthcare needs, with a few adjustments that will begin soon.

A nurse will soon greet all families at our entryway to screen for COVID-19. Symptoms must include fever, cough, and respiratory illness. Symptoms may also include difficulty breathing. You may be asked to wait in your car prior to being seen. We are unable to perform any COVID-19 testing at this time.

All “WELL” visits will be provided in the mornings . These include well check-ups, medication follow-ups, etc. Please make sure that your child and all members with that child are WELL without any respiratory symptoms.  Our nurse greeter will ask you to reschedule your “WELL” visit if anyone meets our screening criteria for “sickness”.

All “SICK” visits will be provided in the afternoons. Please be aware that staff may be in gowns, gloves, face masks and eye protection. We do not want to transfer any germs to you and we also want our staff to stay healthy so we can continue to serve you. We thoroughly clean all surfaces between patients and will continue to do so.

Thank you for choosing Northwest Pediatrics.

Let’s stay healthy together,

Your Northwest Pediatrics Team
