Routine Wellness Exams

At Northwest Pediatrics, we believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

That’s why we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended schedule of well-child visits (AKA check-ups). After children are born, our providers will see them at:

• 2 to 5 days old
• 2 weeks old
• 2 months old
• 4 months old
• 6 months old
• 9 months old
• 12 months old
• 15 months old
• 18 months old
• 2 years old (24 months)
• 2 ½ years old (30 months)
• 3 years old

After age three, we expect to do yearly checkups to maintain continuity of care and shepherd your child through all stages of health and development. As Northwest Pediatrics is your child’s medical home, these check-ups allow our providers to better coordinate your child’s care.
